Cassini ISS images - March 8-12, 2010


The following new images taken by the Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) on the Cassini spacecraft are now available:
  • A Few Rhea Craters (Released 8 March 2010)
    The Cassini spacecraft pictures a crescent of Saturn's moon Rhea.
  • Detailing Dark Spokes (Released 9 March 2010)
    The Cassini spacecraft images dark spokes on Saturn's B ring.
  • Titan's Changing Seasons (Released 10 March 2010)
    The Cassini spacecraft records Titan's seasonal hemispheric dichotomy, with the moon's northern half appearing slightly lighter than the southern half in this image.
  • Tiny Trio (Released 11 March 2010)
    Three of Saturn's small moons straddle the rings in this image. From left to right are Pandora, Prometheus and, near the top right, Epimetheus.
  • Epic Odysseus (Released 12 March 2010)
    Odysseus Crater, with a size of epic proportions, stretches across a large northern expanse on Saturn's moon Tethys.
