Mars Odyssey THEMIS images - June 15-19, 2009

The following new images taken by the Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) on the Mars Odyssey spacecraft are now available:

• Proctor Crater Dunes (Released 15 June 2009)
  This infrared (IR) image of Proctor Crater shows the dune field on the floor of the crater.
• Landslide (Released 16 June 2009)
  This VIS image shows a landslide in Capri Chasma.
• Southern Crater Dunes (Released 17 June 2009)
  Many craters around the south polar cap contain dune fields on their floors.
• Channel (Released 18 June 2009)
  This in an IR image of an unnamed channel in northwestern Terra Cimmeria.
• Channel (Released 19 June 2009)
  This VIS image shows a channel with extensive scalloping of its margins.
