Mars Odyssey THEMIS images - February 8-19, 2010


The following new images taken by the Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) on the Mars Odyssey spacecraft are now available:
  • Tithonium Chasma (Released 8 February 2010)
    Two landslide deposits are visible in this image of Tithonium Chasma.
  • Coprates Chasma (Released 9 February 2010)
    This VIS image of Coprates Chasma shows several landslide deposits.
  • Coprates Catena (Released 10 February 2010)
    The interconnected collapse pits at the top of this VIS image are part of Coprates Catena.
  • Dark Slope Streaks (Released 11 February 2010)
    Numerous dark slope streaks are visible in this small unnamed crater in Zephyria Planum.
  • Dunes (Released 12 February 2010)
    The dunes in this VIS image are located on the floor of an unnamed crater in Tyrrhena Terra.
